DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align: justify\;">Handsome Tours &amp\; Laneway
Presents are proud to present Violet Grohl!</p><p style="text-align: justi
fy\;"><br>Violet Grohl is bringing her raw\, captivating sound down under
for two headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.</p><p style="text-align: j
ustify\;"><br>The 20-year-old singer-songwriter and producer arrives on th
e heels of her debut album\, Be Sweet To Me. Recorded in Los Angeles with
producer Justin Raisen (Kim Gordon\, Yves Tumor)\, the record marries hone
yed\, expressive vocals with heavy sludge\, droning guitars\, and noise-po
p bite. With impressionistic lyrics\, Lynchian film influences\, the recor
d was inspired by a lifelong love of late-&rsquo\;80s and early-&rsquo\;90
s alt-rock\, from Pixies and Cocteau Twins to Soundgarden and PJ Harvey.</
p><p style="text-align: justify\;"><br>Grohl has been singing and playing
music as long as she can remember\, teaching herself ukulele and later gui
tar while hauling the instruments around on both school and tour buses. St
epping into the spotlight with a sound entirely her own\, Violet turns raw
personal moments into high-impact alternative anthems\, anchored by stand
 out tracks like &lsquo\;Thum&rsquo\;\, &lsquo\;595&rsquo\; and &lsquo\;Bug
In A Cake&rsquo\;. Don&#39\;t miss the chance to witness one of alternati
ve music&#39\;s most exciting new voices live in Australia for the very fi
 rst time. </p>
